Bakuretsu (also Sorcerer) Hunters is a rather different sort of anime. It has the standard elements, a group of *snerk* virtuous heroes, a vile master villain, eye candy for the guys, eye candy for the girls and a cute mascot, but it refuses to be stereotyped.
The scary thing is, I like the manga series even better!
