There is an episode where Yue ponders his own mortality. As a being created to be more or less immortal, it's odd that he would do such a thing, but it did become a concern.
Needless to say, I love this image of my Moon Guardian pondering life and death. To his credit, he is more concerned about Sakura than himself, if he should disappear forever.
The cel is A2 with a correction layer. The actual cel has his mantle painted in white and blue tones (the shadows should be light purple) so they painted the mantle again on the correction layer.
Yue is sitting on a couch in the scene. I will be trying to make a background for this cel eventually, but until I do, given the ultimate loneliness of pondering one's own demise, I decided to present this cel naked so to speak, with no background or added background color.
I simply can't express how potent this cel really is!
